WHO WE SUPPORT

For over 30 years, Starlight Children’s Foundation has worked in partnership with health professionals to bring the fun, joy, and laughter that helps sick kids be kids. They help children of all ages, regardless of disability, injury, or illness, because what happens in childhood lasts a lifetime.

In 2024, our Founder Joanne Fricker was appointed a Starlight Children’s Foundation QLD Advisory Board Member.

The Diamond Group has chosen Starlight as our primary charity to align with in an ‘always on’ capacity. We believe this approach is more authentic and allows us to make a greater impact. The work of Starlight has a lovely synergy with our own business.

In 2024, The Diamond Group launched the inaugural Mini & Me Ball, a family-friendly event with all proceeds going to the Starlight Children’s Foundation to help raise funds for Wish Week 2024. Thanks to the generosity of our guests, partners and community we raised an extraordinary $42,850 to support this cause.

In 2025, we aim to make an even greater impact. Join us on Saturday, 23 August 2025 for the next Mini & Me Ball as we continue to support Starlight in bringing joy and happiness to sick kids and their families.

At The Diamond Group, we proudly support Women’s Legal Service QLD (WLSQ) in their mission to provide free legal assistance to women facing domestic violence and financial abuse.

In 2023, our Cup Luxe Garden Party raised over $5,000 for WLSQ, and we continue our commitment through Dancing CEOs—Brisbane’s premier corporate fundraising gala.

This year (2025), Joanne Fricker (The Diamond Group) and Lauren Holland (Joli Boutique) – “The Diamond Divas” will take the stage to raise crucial funds.

To further support Dancing CEOs, we are also hosting The Diamond Day Out, giving our community another way to contribute to this vital cause.

In 2024, we proudly partnered with John Godwin, Founder and Chair of  Inspiring Brighter Futures, to launch a new look, annual sports lunch that captivated both men and women, with a strong focus on health, wellness, and business.

Through this event, we were able to raise essential funds to support, mentor, and empower young people in our local communities, helping them to progress and thrive.

Thanks to the generosity of our guests and event partners, we are excited to share that we raised an incredible $25,675 for Inspiring Brighter Futures.

Looking ahead to 2025, we’re already planning for next year and would love for you to be a part of it.

At the Diamond Experiences Marquee on The Star Stradbroke Day, we raised $10,400 to support the exceptional efforts of the Courier Mail Children’s Charity Fund.

Our commitment to this cause underscores our belief in the importance of giving back to our community.
